Jurong Bird Park, is a tourist magnetization in Singapore managed by Wildlife Reserves Singapore. It is a landscaped park, built on the western slope of Jurong Hill.
Jurong Bird Park has virtually every species to impress avian doters, along with fun exhibits, interactive shows, and of course, its charming denizens.
Jurong Bird Park may be a little more neglected than higher profile siblings Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and River Safari, but it remains a great place for adolescent kids. Home to some 600 species of feathered friends – including spectacular macaws – its highlights include the interactive High Flyers (11am and 3pm) and Kings of the Empyreans (10am and 4pm), as well as the wondrous Lory Loft forest enclosure, where you can aliment colourful lories and lorikeets.
Adolescent ones can splash about at the Birdz of Play (11am to 5.30pm weekdays, 9am to 5.30pm weekends), a wet and dry play area with an on-site shop selling swimwear, and there's a guided tram to cart you around the park when energy levels are low.
